This dynamic experiential workshop is for those who see drama and the creative arts as ways to embody personal and social transformation. We will reawaken our own imaginative capacities using the tools of the Theater of the Oppressed (TO) developed by Brazilian dramatic activist Augusto Boal. TO is now used all over the world for social and political activism, conflict resolution, community building, therapy, and government legislation.

This workshop will combine TO techniques with traditional storytelling, drumming, improvisational drama and creative ritual, to explore our relationship with power and our ability to influence change.
