ImaginAction at SOAW Vigil, Fort Benning, Georgia
ImaginAction artists Hector Aristizábal and Alessia Cartoni will return this year to the gates of WHINSEC also known as the School of the Americas to participate in the yearly vigil organized by SOAW. Come and participate in our many ways to demand the closing of this school of assassins and be part of the healing ritual in which we remember our brothers and sisters that have been tortured. disappeared, assassinated and massacred in Central and South America by the graduates of this school. We will use theater, music, dance and giant puppets as part of our political activism and our ways to combat America’s militarism in the world.
