Hector Aristizabal International Tour

These are some of the places that Hector Aristizabal will be visiting during his second International tour in 2009

From July 24 to 26 Imaginaction’s Vivien Sansour and Hector Aristizabal will participate in International Gathering of Theatre of the Oppressed Practitioners at CTORIO.

From August 2 to August 14 Hector Aristizabal will travel to his native city of Medellin to work with Red Juvenil, an organization dedicated to working with youth that refused to serve any of Colombia’s armed groups: the military, the guerrillas, the paramilitary and the mafia.  He will also offer introductory workshops at Pequeno Teatro de Medellin.

From September to October (Dates to be announced)

Hector will travel to Afghanistan to work with ICTJ (International Center for Transitional Justice) to offer advance TO training.

Hector will travel to Barcelona, Spain to participate in the Festival Theatre and Mental Health organized by pa_tothom.

From October 19 to 30 Hector will be traveling to Rotterdam in The Netherlands to co-direct a theater piece with FORMAAT’s artistic director, Luc Opphehaimer.

First week of November Hector will participate in the Forum Theater Festival in Austria (Dates to be confirmed)

Second week of November Hector will be returning to the Playhouse in Derry Northern Ireland to continue working with artist Teya Sepinuck.
