We are in a pickle!
And … this is a masculinities problem that is not limited to men (cis-males) alone, but rather is something within us all.
Global systems that support life are under threat from multiple angles. The ways that we relate to each other are polarising. Things seems to be falling apart.
In this workshop series, we go to the heart of our global problems.
Are men at fault? All men; some men? Or could it be possible that there is some gendered aspect of our collective consciousness that is not working?
Join masculinities researcher and educator, Dr. Paul M. Pulé, for a four-session online workshop intensive where we will explore the intersections between gender equality and environmental care, at This Critical Moment on Earth.
Leveraging off Paul’s two books, Ecological Masculinities: Theoretical Foundations and Practical Guidance (2018) and Men, Masculinities and Earth: Contending with the (m)Anthropocene (2021), we will consider the gendered roots of our global social and environmental problems. injustices and how they can be addressed through your studies and in your future careers.
