On Monday, April 20 people in a half-dozen cities across the US will creatively and publicly present to governmental representatives 4000 paper cut-out dolls, each one representing 1000 of Colombia’s four million displaced people. To feed this groundswell, dozens of groups are now hosting doll-making parties. Host your own party with our organizer’s kit.

Los Angeles Days of Action:
Feinstein Lobby visit: Our Colombia action group met last Tuesday with Senator Diane Feinstein’s Los Angeles District Director, Trevor Daley, to speak with him about Senator Feinstein’s position on military aid to Colombia, aerial fumigations, and the Colombia Free Trade Agreement. Mr. Delay offered no real position for Senator Feinstein on these issues. We do know that in the past Senator Feinstein has voted in favor military aid to Colombia and numerous free trade agreements. You can see her voting record here. We need your support to pressure Senator Feinstein to not support further military solutions to Cololmbia’s drug war and civil war and to not support a free trade agreement that will further increase the number of internally displaced people in Colombia that is already at an worldwide high of 4 million.
Contact Senator Feinstein now! You can email her or call her L.A or DC offices. Los Angeles Phone: (310) 914-7300 or Washington DC Phone: (202) 224-3841.
Come to a rally at Feinstein’s Los Angeles office this Monday! See details below.
