This year I see many seeds of intentions take form and shape. Some of those are visible and are almost ready to give fruit. Others are still young and tender and require careful tending.

Unlock the News journey of learning and exploration of Newspaper Theatre in the 21st century, which started at the end of 2019, have led to beautiful discoveries and opportunities. The current Unlock the News 2.0 course and performance lab (https://imaginaction.org/unlockthenews) keeps amazing me with the richness of expression and collaborative learning it generates. I feel honoured to explore this wonderfully diverse and international group, the generative space in-between Newspaper Theatre (Theatre of the Oppressed / Critical Pedagogy) and Social Presencing Theatre (Theory U / Social Field Research). Social Presencing Theatre and Newspaper Theatre is at the core of a University course at german university (fhws.de). Every new group of students keep adding layers and precious insights into the application and usefulness of theatre embodiment in a socially distanced and disrupted world. I am currently sensing what could be the next step for this particular action research journey. You feel called to engage or propose a space for further exploration online of on-land, write to me.

I am thankful to work with Consorzio ABN and ANCI Umbria Project LIFE in iterating new ways to support migrants living in Italy. Through group and individual consulting sessions, we help turn skills and dreams into and regenerative projects and successful business ideas in the world after COVID-19. I enter this program as a teacher-learner building up skills and knowledge to create Bahir Consultancy to research and develop new social technologies that can bring clarity of intention, creativity and wisdom in the service of life and future generations. Other delicate tender plants include a possible summer retreat in Italy, learning journeys to South-central Asia, Senegal and more.
