Theater of the Oppressed Masterclass

This two day intensive Master Class is designed for those practitioners that work in communities affected by traumatic settings. It specifically addresses the old understanding that says: “The Blessing is Next to the Wound.” Hector will share his own version of Boal’s newest exploration with “psychological forum theatre” alongside additional offerings such as “dream theatre,” “images from the museum,” and “mother of the oppressor” among other third space techniques that strive to reach beyond the binary of protagonist vs. antagonist in cultural field work and social healing
