Celebrating Life – Training for Facilitators – Senegal
November 26 @ 11:00 am - December 4 @ 11:00 am
A residential theatre workshop and journey that invites you to visit community projects and meet Senegalese Theatre of the Oppressed network. It is part of a training for facilitators program and includes an theater residency that is organized with Kaddu Yaraax Theatre group and facilitated by Uri Noy Meir.
We will meet and make theatre with local Theatre groups and practitioners from across Senegal and possibly from other African countries (last year we had one theater practitioner joining from Guinea)
In the residency we will see how theatre can inspire personal growth, regenerate community and create awareness. Engage the body in a creative and playful envisioning and enacting of the future we want to see and be in the world. In the residential workshop you will learn, be inspired with Theatre of the Oppressed (www.theatreoftheoppressed.

THERE are available spots for “internationals” that wish to join this unique journey to practice theatre and facilitation in Senegal.
